An outpatient chemotherapy clinic built with money from the Darryl Worley Foundation opened Thursday (Dec. 2) at the Hardin County General Hospital in Savannah, Tenn. The funds came from the Savannah native’s annual Tennessee River Run there. The donation enables the hospital to make chemotherapy drugs on site. Both of Worley’s grandfathers died of cancer. “It has always been very important to me to give back to the people and the place which inspired me to do what I do,” Worley said.
