Despite stories circulating throughout the Internet, Tim McGraw will not participate in the NBC Universal Television Group's Jan. 15 telethon to raise money to assist victims of the tsunami disaster in Southeast Asia. One of the telethon's producers told media in New York that the show would feature McGraw, Christina Aguilera, Sheryl Crow and others. However, a scheduling conflict will prevent McGraw from attending the event, his Nashville-based publicist said Wednesday (Jan. 5).
