Urban, Fogerty Visit Crossroads

Keith Urban and John Fogerty took the stage Thursday night (Jan. 20) at Union Station in Los Angeles to tape the latest installment of CMT Crossroads. The Aussie sensation and the legendary singer-songwriter found much common ground in their music, taking obvious delight in collaborating on four Urban tunes, including hits “Somebody Like You” and “Days Go By.” The pair also offered up six Fogerty songs, rockin’ out on classics such as “Bad Moon Rising” and “Down on the Corner.” Urban –who told CMT News he grew up listening to his parents’ Creedence Clearwater Revival records — said playing with Fogerty was “quite surreal.” Fogerty called Urban “an incredible guitar player, great singer and incredible songwriter,” adding “and he’s so good looking.” The Crossroads concert debuts on Feb. 19.
