Authorities Investigate Williams Home Burglary

Law officers in Paris, Tenn., are continuing the investigation into a Jan. 19 burglary at Hank Williams Jr.’s home where a 60-pound safe containing more than $500,000 in jewelry was stolen while the singer and his children slept. Ryan Daniel Binkley, 22, was already being held on drug charges in Dyersburg, Tenn., when he asked his mother to go to his cabin to sell some of the jewelry. She notified authorities in Paris after discovering a CMA Awards ring inscribed with Williams’ name. Officers said the theft took place while the electronic security system at the 10,000-plus square-foot house was turned off.
