Randy Travis celebrated the 20th anniversary of signing his record deal with Warner Bros. Nashville on Monday (Feb. 14). The original deal was for two singles, the second of which was “On the Other Hand,” the first of his 16 No. 1 hits. He has since sold more than 21 million albums. “It’s really hard to believe that it’s been 20 years already,” Travis said. “In some ways, it seems like it was not so long ago that we were touring out of a broken-down bread truck and knocking on every door along the way.” Travis’ album Worship & Faith won a Grammy on Sunday night (Feb. 13) for best Southern, country or bluegrass gospel album.
