Candied Sweet Potatoes

3 medium sweet potatoes
Butter
Sugar
Cinnamon

Boil three sweet potatoes, covered in water, until done (stick with fork). Cool. Slice cooled potatoes and place in a baking dish. Put a pat of butter on each potato slice, cover with sugar and sprinkle with cinnamon. Repeat. Should make three layers. Don’t be stingy with butter and sugar. Bake in a 350° oven about 30 minutes or until sugar is melted and clinging to potatoes.

I can do this blindfolded, but writing how I do it becomes a chore. I have no recipe for this dish. I just do it. You can, too. Enjoy.
