Phil Vassar's "Live for Today" has been chosen as the new theme song for NBC's Today Show. Vassar and wife Julie wrote the song earlier this year with their friend Randy Wachtler. Chosen from hundreds of demos, the song will also promote a new NBC series, Live for Today. Wachtler is president and CEO of 615 Music, a Nashville company that creates themes for television.
