Bluegrass Conference Set for Western Kentucky University

The first academic conference devoted exclusively to bluegrass music will be held Sept. 8-10 at Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green. Banjoist J. D. Crowe will open the Bluegrass Music Symposium with a concert. Formal presentation and discussion of research papers will take place over the next two days. All events will be open to the public. Dr. Erika Brady, a professor at WKU, is coordinating the conference and will announce its agenda within the next two weeks.
