The independent film Dear Mr. Cash will be screened Saturday (April 16) at the Nashville Film Festival. The script is a coming-of-age story of a 10-year-old girl in rural Tennessee who shares a love of Johnny Cash’s music with her wandering father. Cash’s brother Tommy and sister Joanne will attend the screening on Saturday. Wendy Cooper-Porcelli wrote and directed the film. The Warren Brothers are included in cameo roles, singing their original song “Johnny and Jesus” around a campfire.
