Chewy Bread

Serve as a dessert, after-dinner snack, after-school yummy or for yourself.

1 stick butter, melted
1 pound light brown sugar
3 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups self-rising flour
1 cup chopped nuts

Preheat oven to 325°. Mix butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla. Add flour slowly as you stir until smooth. Add nuts. Spread in a 9 x 13 greased and floured baking dish. Bake for 30 minutes.
