Garth Brooks to Perform at Hall of Fame Ceremony

Garth Brooks will offer a rare musical performance Sunday (May 1) when Kris Kristofferson and Jim Foglesong are presented their Country Music Hall of Fame medallions in Nashville. Kristofferson and Foglesong were inducted into the Hall of Fame in November, but the annual medallion ceremony serves as a private gathering of all Hall of Fame members. Brooks will join the Oak Ridge Boys, T. Graham Brown and Sawyer Brown's Mark Miller in a musical tribute to Foglesong, the former head of MCA Nashville and Capitol Records Nashville. Ray Price and his band, the Cherokee Cowboys, will salute Kristofferson. Other performers at the ceremony will include Cowboy Jack Clement, John Prine, Guy Clark, Vince Gill, Billy Joe Shaver and Todd Snider. The event takes place at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum.
