Jessica Simpson and Willie Nelson will release a duet version of Nancy Sinatra's 1966 hit, "These Boots Are Made for Walkin'," this summer. The song was written by Lee Hazelwood, but the new track features some new lyrics written by Simpson. It will be the first single from The Dukes of Hazzard film soundtrack. Simpson plays Daisy Duke in the movie and the song's accompanying music video. Nelson portrays Uncle Jesse in the movie and also appears in the music video.
