Canadian Country Star Terry Carisse Dies

Canadian country star Terry Carisse died Sunday (May 22) in an Ottawa, Ontario hospital following a battle with cancer. He was 62. The Canadian Country Music Association named him the male vocalist of the year six times in the 1980s. His hits included “Sparkle in Her Eyes” and “All Her Letters.” He also wrote several songs for the Mercey Brothers, including “Hello Mom” in 1971.
