An aggregate total of 145,355 people attended the 2005 CMA Music Festival in Nashville, according to figures released by the Country Music Association. The number reflects ticket holders to the entire four-day festival (who are counted four times) and those buying single-day tickets to the concerts at Riverfront Park and the Coliseum. All of the festival’s four-day ticket packages sold out this year, representing a 16 percent increase over 2004. Single-day tickets to concerts increased 38 percent this year. The festival took place this past Thursday through Sunday (June 9-12).
