Congealed Cherry Salad

Almost dessert! Good for warm weather eating.

2 3-ounce packages of cherry Jell-O
2 cups boiling water
1 can cherry pie filling
1 large can crushed pineapple

Topping:
1 8-ounce package cream cheese (at room temperature)
1 cup sour cream (at room temperature)
1/3 cup sugar
1/4 cup chopped pecans

Mix Jell-O with hot water. Stir until well blended. Allow to cool. Add pie filling and pineapple. Mix well. Allow to congeal in a 9 x 13 glass dish in the fridge.

Topping: Mix softened cream cheese, sour cream and sugar. Blend well. Spread evenly over congealed Jell-O mixture. Sprinke with nut
