George Strait, Bering Strait Lead New Releases

Fans who like their country "Strait" have two options among a batch of new releases on Tuesday (June 28). George Strait's Somewhere Down in Texas includes the hit "You'll Be There." Meanwhile, Russian bluegrass ensemble Bering Strait offers its second album, Pages. Other new releases include: the Greencards'-- a bluegrass-based trio now on tour with Willie Nelson and Bob Dylan -- Weather and Water; Hot Apple Pie</>, the self-titled debut from the band led by Brady Seals; Colorado bluegrass band Open Road's Lucky Drive; a rockabilly effort from Texas' Two Tons of Steel, titled Vegas; and Adrienne Young's The Art of Virtue, a bluegrass-based sophomore album from the ecologically-minded songwriter. Reissues include The Essential Dolly Parton and The Essential Marty Robbins, compiling their best-known work on two CDs.
