Bare, Peasalls, Robinella Schedule New Albums

A popular country singer in the 1960s and 1970s, Bobby Bare has completed his first new solo album in 22 years. The Moon Was Blue, set for release Oct. 4 on Dualtone Records, was produced by Bobby Bare Jr. and Mark Nevers. Bare’s country hits include “Detroit City,” “Daddy What If” and “Marie Laveau.” … In related news, Dualtone will issue the Peasall Sisters’ Home to You on Sept. 6. The sister trio were featured on the O Brother, Where Art Thou? soundtrack. Robinella’s Solace for the Lonely — her first album without the CCStringband — is also due in September on Dualtone.
