Sharp, Aldean Release New Albums

Best known for his 1996 No. 1 hit “Nobody Knows,” Kevin Sharp released a new album, Make a Wish, on Tuesday (July 26) on Cupit Records. In addition to his singing career, Sharp has traveled as a motivational speaker and co-wrote his first book, Tragedy’s Gift. … Other new releases include “Hicktown” singer Jason Aldean’s self-titled debut (Broken Bow), compelling songwriter Jeff Black’s Tin Lily (Dualtone), Austin musician Stephen Bruton’s From the Five (New West), a reissue of The Dukes of Hazzard TV soundtrack (Volcano/Legacy) and a compilation of drinking songs Brewed in Texas 2 (Compadre), with previously released material as well as new songs by Ray Wylie Hubbard, Randy Rogers Band, Bob Schneider, Rick Trevino and others.
