Sugarland, Bon Jovi Tape CMT Crossroads in New York

The group Sugarland taped an episode of CMT Crossroads on Tuesday (Aug. 9) at New York City’s Hammerstein Ballroom. During the two-hour taping, Sugarland and Bon Jovi performed songs from both groups, including a duet of the song “Who Says You Can’t Go Home?” that appears on Bon Jovi’s upcoming (as-yet-untitled) new CD to be released in September. The concert included signature songs from each group, including Sugarland’s “Baby Girl” and Bon Jovi’s “You Give Love a Bad Name.” Before the taping, platinum plaques for Sugarland’s debut album Twice the Speed of Life were presented to members of the group by Universal Music Group Nashville co-chairman Luke Lewis. The CMT Crossroads program with Sugarland and Bon Jovi will air on Sept. 16.
