Hawaiian Wedding Cake

2 cups sugar
2 cups plain flour
2 beaten eggs
1 20-ounce can crushed pineapple
1 cup chopped pecans
1 teaspoon soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 cup coconut

Preheat oven to 350°.

Beat eggs well. Add other ingredients. Mix well by hand. Pour into 9 x 13 greased and floured pan. Bake at 350° in a preheated oven for 45 minutes. Allow to cool.

Icing:

8 ounces cream cheese (room temperature)
1 stick butter (room temperature)
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2 cups sifted confectioners sugar
