Jon Randall Releases Walking Among the Living

Jon Randall released the album Walking Among the Living on Epic Nashville on Tuesday (Sept. 20). Randall won a 1992 Grammy as a member of Emmylou Harris’ band Nash Ramblers and notched a Top 20 hit with Lorrie Morgan on “By My Side” in 1996. The new album features appearances by Vince Gill, Patty Loveless and Randall’s version of “Whiskey Lullaby,” which he co-wrote with Bill Anderson. … Other new releases include Bastard Sons of Johnny Cash’s Mile Marker (Texacali), Jerry Douglas’ The Best Kept Secret (Koch), Poco’s Bareback at Big Sky (Drifter’s Church), Billy Joe Shaver’s The Real Deal (Compadre), bluegrass band Wildfire’s Rattle of the Chains (Pinecastle) and Night Train to Nashville: Music City Rhythm & Blues, 1945-1970 (Country Music Hall of Fame/Lost Highway).
