Faith Hill will join several fellow Mississippi natives, including actor Morgan Freeman and author John Grisham, for Mississippi Rising, a concert to benefit the nonprofit Mississippi Hurricane Recovery Fund. Taking place Oct. 1 on the campus of the University of Mississippi in Oxford, the event will be telecast live on MSNBC and on television stations throughout Mississippi and Louisiana. Other native Mississippians, including Archie and Eli Manning, Brett Favre and Sela Ward, will appear at the event that also features Steve Azar, Gary Morris, Lance Bass, Brian McKnight, Bernadette Peters, Lance Bass, Doris Roberts, Ray Romano, Whoopi Goldberg, Marilu Henner, Kathie Lee Gifford and many others.
