Chesney Video Being Streamed at

Kenny Chesney’s new video, “Who You’d Be Today,” is being streamed exclusively at in advance of its world television premiere Thursday (Sept. 29) on CMT’s Top Twenty Countdown. Written by Bill Luther and Aimee Mayo, it’s the first single from Chesney’s new album, The Road and the Radio, set for release on Nov. 8. The video was directed by Shaun Silva, who previously worked with Chesney on the videos for “Young,” “Big Star,” “There Goes My Life” and “Anything but Mine.” Top Twenty Countdown airs at 4:30 p.m. ET/PT. … In related news, Chesney, Mariah Carey and Rob Thomas are the first performers announced for the 2005 American Music Awards airing Nov. 22 on ABC.
