Radio stations in Minnesota, Tennessee and Arkansas are among the winners in the 2005 CMA Broadcast Awards. The station and broadcast personality of the year awards are given in major, large, medium and small market categories. Station of the year winners in major to small market, respectively are KEEY/Minneapolis, WSIX/Nashville, KSSN/Little Rock, Ark., and WUSY/Chattanooga, Tenn. Winning broadcast personality of the year honors in major to small markets, respectively, are Lisa Dent (WUSN/Chicago), Gerry House and the House Foundation (WSIX/Nashville), Andy & Alison and the Morning Crew (WIVK/Knoxville, Tenn.) and Dex & Kim (WUSY/Chattanooga). Lia Knight, host of the syndicated The Lia Show, was named national broadcast personality of the year. Lee Ann Womack notified the winners by phone Monday morning (Oct. 10). They will be recognized in November during the 39th annual CMA Awards show in New York.
