Adkins Raising Food Allergy Awareness

Trace Adkins is working with a nonprofit organization to raise awareness of the dangers of food allergies. Adkins recently traveled to Washington to participate in the Food Allergy & Anaphylaxis Network’s Kids’ Congress event to share the story of his 4-year-old daughter’s struggle with severe food allergies. The event was designed to urge Congress to pass new legislation encouraging public schools to educate faculty and staff about food allergy management. His official Web site will be selling stuffed toys — a Trace Adkins PAL (Protect a Life) bear and a Hot Mama PAL bear — to raise money for FAAN’s research involving food allergies.
