Jerry Lee Lewis, Martina McBride, Dwight Yoakam, Alison Krauss and Kid Rock performed Tuesday night (Oct. 25) at the Pantages Theatre in Los Angeles during a taping for the upcoming CBS special, I Walk the Line: A Night for Johnny Cash. Set to air Nov. 16, the special coincides with the Nov. 18 national release of Walk the Line, a Cash biopic starring Joaquin Phoenix and Reese Witherspoon. Others participating in Tuesday’s concert taping include Kris Kristofferson, Norah Jones, Jessi Colter and Shooter Jennings. Phoenix and Witherspoon were joined by actors Andy Garcia and Dennis Quaid in introducing several of the performers. The special will also feature pre-recorded performances by Brad Paisley, Montgomery Gentry, Sheryl Crow, U2 and Foo Fighters.
