Dolly Parton will take part in a groundbreaking ceremony for a new entertainment complex in Roanoke Rapids, N.C., on Friday (Nov. 11). She will be joined by brother Randy Parton, who plans to operate the $129 million complex that will encompass 800 acres in northeast North Carolina. Randy Parton will also perform regularly at the complex in his own 1,500-seat theater. Grand Ole Opry members Jim Ed Brown and Jeannie Seely will also appear at Friday’s event. The complex is expected to open in April 2007.
