McCready’s DUI Case Going to Grand Jury

A grand jury will now hear Mindy McCready’s DUI charge, stemming from her May 9 arrest in Nashville. According to the Associated Press, her lawyers tried to get the case thrown out on Tuesday (Nov. 8) by discrediting the field sobriety test she was given, but the judge moved the case ahead from the General Sessions Court to the Davidson County grand jury. If indicted, she may face a minimum of 48 hours in jail, as well as serve 11 months and 29 days probation.
