Brooks & Dunn Choose Inspirational Tune for CMA Show

Brooks & Dunn will perform “Believe,” an inspirational track from their latest album,
Hillbilly Deluxe, during the 39th annual CMA Awards show to be broadcast Tuesday night (Nov. 15) on CBS. Ronnie Dunn co-wrote the song with Nashville songwriter Craig Wiseman, whose numerous credits include Tim McGraw’s “Live Like You Were Dying.” For the CMA Awards performance at Madison Square Garden in New York, Brooks & Dunn will be backed by acoustic guitarist Randy Scruggs, bassist Michael Rhodes and keyboardist Reese Wynans, the latter a former member of Stevie Ray Vaughn’s band, Double Trouble. … In other Brooks & Dunn news, the trio will serve as presenters at the upcoming American Music Awards. Also just announced to present an AMA trophy is Lee Ann Womack, who joins a list of presenters including LeAnn Rimes, Rascal Flatts and Gretchen Wilson. Kenny Chesney, McGraw and Keith Urban will perform on the show airing Nov. 22 on ABC.
