Kristofferson Signs New West Deal

Kris Kristofferson has signed with New West Records and will release This Old Road, his first project for the independent label, on March 7. The 11-song album was produced by Don Was, whose production credits include the Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, Brian Wilson and Bonnie Raitt. Was also produced The Road Goes On Forever, a 1995 album by the Highwaymen, the group featuring Kristofferson, Willie Nelson and the late Johnny Cash and Waylon Jennings. Guests on Kristofferson’s new album include a former member of his band, guitarist Stephen Bruton.
