Potato Strips
Kids eat these like they eat French fries. May be the cut.
3 or 4 large potatoes, peeled, washed and cut like fries
1/2 cup canned milk, to almost cover potatoes
2 tablespoons butter, melted
1 teaspoon salt
dash pepper
thinly shaved cheese (American or cheddar)
Preheat oven to 425°.
Place prepared potatoes in a greased casserole. Cover with milk. Pour in melted butter. Sprinkle salt and pepper. Bake covered at 425° for 40 minutes or until fork tender. Sprinkle with shaved cheese. Bake until cheese melts.
