Nothing is better than sausage gravy and scrambled eggs after a night of partying on New Year’s Eve. Jessi Colter made this for her husband, Waylon Jennings.
1/4 cup flour
Crumble sausage like hamburger. Cook and stir until done. You may need to remove some grease but not all. Sprinkle about 1/4 cup flour over the sausage/flour mixture. Allow to slightly brown. Pour enough milk over mixture, stirring until consistency to “sop.”
Scramble a few eggs, and if you don’t make biscuits, open some packaged ones. You’ll be glad you did.
