Veteran hitmaker Clay Walker rekindled his relationship with country radio programmers during a Wednesday (Feb. 15) luncheon performance at the Country Radio Seminar in Nashville. Opening with his 1994 charttopping "If I Could Make a Living," Walker concentrated on giving radio's decision-makers a taste of the new material he's in the process of recording with producer Keith Stegall. Walker recently signed with Curb/Asylum, one of the labels under Curb Records' corporate umbrella, after scoring hits at the Giant and RCA labels. The Curb-sponsored luncheon also introduced Bomshel, a female duo featuring lead vocalist Buffy Lawson and instrumentalist-vocalist Kristy O. Bomshel's set included the debut single, "Country Music Love Song," which contains the lyrics, "It was an absolutely finger lickin', grits and chicken country music love song."
