Kid Rock Files Suit to Block Distribution of Sex Video

A federal judge in Detroit has issued a restraining order that prohibits a Web site from previewing a video clip of a sex video featuring Kid Rock, former Creed lead vocalist Scott Stapp and several women. Kid Rock’s attorneys filed the lawsuit against World Wide Red Light District (which previously marketed a sex video featuring Paris Hilton) and company president David Joseph. The company last week voluntarily removed the preview from its Web site by the company. A hearing in the case will be held Friday (Feb. 24) in the case. Kid Rock is also seeking a permanent order prohibiting sale of the video. In legal documents filed with the lawsuit, Kid Rock said Stapp shot the video in 1999 on a tour bus in Florida. “This was a private video and was not intended for public display,” he informed the court.
