Claire Lynch to Release First Album in Six Years

Bluegrass singer-songwriter Claire Lynch will release her first album in six years, New Day, on March 28 on Rounder Records. She has also resumed her touring schedule with a band featuring David Harvey, Jim Hurst and Missy Raines. Lynch was named the IBMA's female vocalist in 1997, and she has performed as a harmony vocalist with Patty Loveless, Kathy Mattea, Dolly Parton, Linda Ronstadt, Pam Tillis and Trisha Yearwood.
