Foxworthy to Star in New CMT Series

Filming Begins in June; Series to Debut in September

CMT has signed Jeff Foxworthy to a 12-episode series, Foxworthy’s Big Night Out, featuring Foxworthy’s stand-up and sketch comedy and live musical performances from country music’s brightest stars. The show will premiere in September on CMT.

Foxworthy recently hosted the CMT Music Awards for a second consecutive year.

“I loved working with CMT on the award show,” says Foxworthy. “This new project is a chance to bring something new to CMT and give the audience a show that they will love. I am very excited to be a part of the CMT family.”

Taped in front of a live studio audience in Atlanta’s Alliance Theatre, Foxworthy’s Big Night Out will begin production in June.

Each half-hour episode will give Foxworthy a new platform to showcase the all-American comedy for which he has become famous. A cast of comedic talents, special guests and country artists will join him in comedy sketches. Each episode will also feature country stars performing their latest hits on the family-oriented show.
