Jimmy Wayne sang three new songs at a showcase sponsored by his new label, Big Machine Records, on Tuesday afternoon (May 23) at Studio 54, a nightclub in Las Vegas’ MGM Grand Hotel and Casino. Wayne said he hopes to have a single out by July. Mark Bright will be producing the album. Wayne released his self-titled debut in 2003 on DreamWorks Nashville. His hits include “Stay Gone” and “I Love You This Much.” Big Machine’s roster also includes Jack Ingram, Danielle Peck and Taylor Swift. Ingram and Swift also sang at the event, but Peck is on vocal rest in Nashville.
