Loretta Lynn Breaks Shoulder, Cancels Concerts

Country Music Hall of Fame member Loretta Lynn was scheduled to undergo shoulder joint replacement surgery Thursday (June 8) after breaking her left shoulder Sunday (June 4) in a fall at her home in Hurricane Mills, Tenn. The singer will recuperate at home following the surgery at a Nashville hospital, according to her spokesman. As a result of her injury, Lynn canceled nine shows in June and July, including appearances this week in Michigan and Ohio. Lynn plans to reschedule the concerts in the near future.
