Alan Jackson’s New Single Arrives at Country Radio

Alan Jackson’s new single, “Like Red on a Rose,” was delivered to country radio stations at midnight Tuesday (July 18), and 59 stations immediately added it to their playlists. Written by Robert Lee Castleman and Melanie Castleman, the song is the first single from Jackson’s upcoming album that was produced by Alison Krauss. The Castlemans’ other writing credits include Jackson’s “Maybe I Should Stay Here.” Krauss has also recorded several of Robert Lee Castleman’s songs, including “Let Me Touch You for Awhile,” “The Lucky One” and “Forget About It.” Jackson’s new album is set for release on Sept. 26.
