A number of acoustic and bluegrass albums were released Tuesday (Sept. 12), including Canadian ensemble the Duhks' Migrations (Sugar Hill), the late Steve Goodman's Live at the Earl of Old Town (Red Pajamas), bluegrass singer Valerie Smith's Wash Away Your Troubles (Bell Buckle), Nickel Creek founder Chris Thile's How to Grow a Woman From the Ground (Sugar Hill) and bluegrass newcomer Bradley Walker's Highway of Dreams (Rounder). New boxed sets include the four-disc Sugar Hill: A Retrospective (Sugar Hill).
