Chesnutt Releases Heard It in a Love Song

Mark Chesnutt released a new album, Heard It in a Love Song, on CBuJ Records on Tuesday (Sept. 26). The title song is a remake of the 1977 hit by the Marshall Tucker Band. Other new releases include the Waylon Jennings boxed set Nashville Rebel (RLG Nashville/Legacy), Jerry Lewis’ all-star duets album Last Man Standing (Artists First), an expanded reissue of Dwight Yoakam’s 1986 debut, Guitars, Cadillacs, Etc., Etc. (Rhino) and a Texas musical tribute Why the Hell Not … The Songs of Kinky Friedman (Sustain). New bluegrass releases include David Davis and the Warrior River Boys (Rebel), Carrie Hassler and Hard Rain (Rural Rhythm) and Newfound Road’s Life in a Song (Rounder).
