Peach Cobbler

Hazel's Hot Dish Recipe of the Week

Peach Cobbler

2-15 1/4 ounce cans sliced peaches in heavy syrup

3/4 cup sugar

1/2 cup butter

1 cup self-rising flour

1 cup sugar

1 cup milk (I use 1/2 cup buttermilk and 1/2 cup evaporated milk.)

Preheat oven to 350°.

Empty 2 cans of peaches in a saucepan. Add 3/4 cup sugar. Heat until sugar melts in with peaches. Melt butter in 9 1/2 x 13 glass baking dish. Pour peaches in over butter. Sift flour, add sugar and mix. Add milk (s) and mix well. Pour over peaches. Cook at 350° for 1 hour.

Jeremy and I like vanilla ice cream with hot peach cobbler. You will, too.
