Johnny Cash’s Memphis Home to be Auctioned

The Memphis, Tenn., home where Johnny Cash lived in the early years of his career will be auctioned on eBay beginning Friday (Nov. 10). Located at 5676 Walnut Grove Place, the residence still includes the guitar-shaped mailbox Cash posted on the front curb. He and his then-wife Vivian, as well as their daughters Kathy and Rosanne, lived in the four-bedroom house from 1957 to 1960. The sale is being facilitated by the Honky Tonk Hall of Fame, which also helped to sell one of Elvis Presley’s former residences before he moved into Graceland. The home will also be up for bid on CMTauctions.com.
