Pumpkin Bread

4 cups plain flour
2 cups sugar
2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
1/4 tsp. ginger
1 (15 oz) can pumpkin
1/4 cup vegetable oil
4 eggs
1 cup water
1 cup chopped pecans

Preheat oven to 350°. Grease and flour two (9 x 5 x 3-inch) loaf pans. Sift dry ingredients (flour, sugar, soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves and ginger) in a large mixing bowl.

Beat pumpkin, oil, eggs and water together. Stir mixture together until well blended. Mix pecans in batter. Divide batter in each pan.

Bake 1 to 1 1/4 hours.
