Former Nashville Novelist Pens Charity Christmas Song

Novelist and songwriter Cathie Pelletier, who co-wrote the Texas Tornados single "Who Were You Thinkin' Of" while she was living in Nashville, has written and executive produced a Christmas record to raise funds for charities in her current hometown of Fort Kent, Maine. Pelletier drafted ordinary townspeople -- including a carpenter, a janitor and a FedEx driver -- to sing the song, "Northern Maine Christmas." Under the name K. C. McKinnon, Pelletier wrote the novel Candles on Bay Street, which recently aired on CBS-TV as a Hallmark Hall of Fame film starring Alicia Silverstone.
