Broccoli Cheese Soup

1 1/2 sticks butter
3/4 cups plain flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup grated sharp cheddar cheese
6 cups milk
1/2 package chopped broccoli, cooked per box instructions

Melt butter, add flour and salt. Cook and stir until smooth. Add milk, stirring constantly until thickened. Add cheese and continue to stir to mix well, then add cooked broccoli.

Make a turkey or ham sandwich, and you’ve got a nice, quick delish supper with little effort.
