This is so easy, I’m almost ashamed to write it. However, it reminds me of those expensive desserts you’d get in the dining room of a fancy hotel in New York or L.A.
4-ounce package vanilla instant pudding mix
1/2 cup sour cream
1 1/2 cups milk
1/2 teaspoon almond extract
21-ounce can cherry pie filling
Combine pudding mix, sour cream, milk and almond extract in a bowl. Whip for a couple of minutes until well blended. Alternate layers of pudding mixture and pie filling. Top with a dollop of whipped topping and slide a couple sugar cookies on the side of the dish.
They’d probably charge $9.95 for this at the Ritz!
