Earl Scruggs is currently collaborating on an album with multi-instrumentalist Little Roy Lewis and 23-year-old bluegrass musician Elizabeth “Lizzy” Long. Lewis is a member of the Lewis Family gospel-bluegrass group. Titled Lifetimes — Lewis, Scruggs & Long, the album will be produced by Wayne Haun and Kevin Ward. Scruggs said, “I have been traveling for many years, but it is seldom that you see such a talented newcomer as Elizabeth Long. She’ll be a household name among bluegrass fans.” The project will be released April 16 on Crossroads/Vine Records.
