I made this dish on Southern Fried Flicks, and I have been flooded with e-mails. My guest, Craig Morgan, really enjoyed this dish which is in Hazel’s Hot Dish: Cookin’ With Country Stars. The recipe came from Aaron Tippin. It’s his mom’s recipe.
8 small navel oranges
8-ounce can crushed pineapple
6-ounce jar maraschino cherries, drained
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1/2 cup coconut
Peel and cut oranges in sections and put in a bowl. Add pineapple. Cut cherries in half and add to mixture. Stir in pecans and coconut. Refrigerate an hour and serve.
Easy to make, delicious to eat.
