George Strait Postpones Shows Due to Laryngitis

George Strait has postponed two concerts this weekend because of a severe case of laryngitis, according to his Web site. The shows at the Mohegan Sun Casino in Uncasville, Conn., scheduled for Friday and Saturday (March 9-10) have been rescheduled for April 26-27. Ronnie Milsap will open the shows, which are the only upcoming concerts on Strait’s itinerary. Strait is nominated for eight Academy of Country Music (ACM) awards, which will be presented May 15 in Las Vegas.
